This is new
and I don’t know what I’m doing, but here we go.
Here’s what to expect:
I’ll be honest, I don’t have a strategy for this medium yet. I used to love making my website/blog so aesthetic (and I was an avid Xanga user in the 2000s), but the ease of Substack and the ability to connect with a community so easily is appealing.
Life is unpredictable.
The reality of my life is that I’m working a corporate marketing leader job, doing a bunch of marketing work on the side for a thriving small business (yes, I’m still working with Fashion Fix), trying to be a present wife and dog mom, and a responsible homeowner without burning the candle at both ends.
Showing up on Instagram and dropping a bunch of links is getting too taxing, plus I’m constantly battling what the algorithm wants to show you on that platform.
I want to be able to draft something throughput the week and send once a week(ish) via substack, where it feels intentional and not rushed, and I can serve you the content you deserve.
We’ll see how things pan out but I’m glad you’re here! If you’re just encountering my content and have no idea who I am, I’ll update my bio soon - I promise.
